Quick answer
Choose the American Flag Bass Baggo for a patriotic, ready-to-play set with included board inserts, or the Beach Bum Surf Wave for a customizable coastal design and a slightly lower price.
Design and customization differences
The American Flag Bass Baggo comes with two board inserts featuring your selected design, so you get a complete patriotic look right out of the box. The Beach Bum Surf Wave also includes inserts but adds the option for customization if you request it, making it a better fit if you want to personalize your boards with names, logos, or artwork.
Both games share the same durable All Weather material, built-in scorekeepers, pop-out carrying handles, and internal bean bag storage. The core gameplay experience is identical—the choice comes down to aesthetics and whether you value customization over a fixed design.
Price and value considerations
At USD 110.15 (compared to USD 161.99), the Beach Bum Surf Wave is the more budget-friendly option. The American Flag Bass Baggo is priced at USD 124.82 (compared to USD 170.99). Both include a lifetime warranty, 8 bean bags, a distance regulator rope, and a wall mounting bracket, so you're getting solid value either way.
If you're on a tighter budget or want the flexibility to customize, the Beach Bum offers savings. If you prefer a ready-to-play patriotic set and don't need customization, the American Flag version is a great pick at a slightly higher price.
Trade-offs to consider
- Design ready vs. customizable: The American Flag set comes with fixed patriotic inserts; the Beach Bum set offers customization if you request it. If you want a unique look, go Beach Bum. If you want a classic flag design immediately, go American Flag.
- Price difference: The Beach Bum is about USD 14 cheaper than the American Flag version. Both include the same accessories and warranty, so the savings are real without sacrificing quality.
- Same core features: Both games are identical in build, portability, and included accessories (bean bags, rope, bracket). The only differences are design and customization availability. If you don't care about design or customization, either set works equally well—choose based on price or aesthetic preference.
